You could probably get more for your old PS3 or 360 but the convenience of trading up this way is attractive to some people. Not the worst offer.
DC in the US lasted from September 1999 to late 2001.. it's unthinkable that the Wii U's run will be that short, ie. ending this year.

Sony used to buy up all the exclusives, of course, until Microsoft came along and ended that. Bigger fish in the pond.
Lineup for Xbox One this year is utterly supreme and it's hard to see what Sony is going to do to combat it, probably port over some PS3 games.

This blows my mind.. Dreamcast has a phenomenal library for its time but even a few more years would have been incredible.
Buying the rights was an excellent move, no question. Giving it to an untested new studio, well, the jury is still out on that one.
Giving them Gears is a massive vote of confidence but also puts a lot of pressure on their shoulders, so we'll wait and see how it turns out.
It could even be a single player stealth shooter..
Already there's a Killzone game on PS4 with Uncharted and Infamous coming soon. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, or that they're not good games, but the double-standard here is a bit silly. Seen a few people posting like this today..

That doesn't make sense, 'game of the year' is basically just a person or website's pick for best game, so it can be any game they choose.
To be fair these are games everyone should try and play.

Funny thought on the 'not Donkey Kong' whining - Rare released the three DKC games in 1994, 1995 and 1996. Those are now viewed as a classic trilogy.
Cause it's impossible, even if you own all the systems, not to prefer one. And there'll always be people who'll try to insist their preference is the only way!

It's just a handy way to get an Xbox One a bit cheaper, while offloading an old system you don't need any more.
